Dave on Microsoft’s recent OEMs can put other apps on the Windows XP desktop.
I haven’t seen anyone fall for Microsoft’s concession to the OEMs yesterday. Got a little bit of pushback from Microsoft PR. They said that Passport wasn’t in the box. Oh. Really. OK, it’s actually there. Take it out? No. OK. I get it. It’s only the old bits that are semi-optional, the ones where the competition is dead. Ahhh I see.
Like all “we are really nice guys” from Microsoft, a meaningless gesture. Just like one of the local dealerships they are “Giving It to you straight”.
