While watching Tilda this morning I put Star Wars on in the background. First time it played in Tilda’s presence. So far we are only to the cantina scene, but there have been three stand out reactions. The first was when Ben is reviving Luke, R2 and 3PO after the Sand People attacked. When 3PO is helped up all covered in sand and an arm ripped off Tilda began laughing and continued for several minutes. The second was when Ben is telling Luke about his father giving Luke the lightsaber. As soon as the lightsaber is turned on Tilda snapped to watching the TV as long as the lightsaber was on, totally mesmerized. The thrid reaction is whenever an Imperial score played she is immediately attracted to the TV. Even when in the other room she runs in to see what is going on.

Tilda’s First Birthday
1 year and 11 minutes ago Tilda was born. She is now getting ready for her afternoon nap after her first birthday party.

Orson passed away
Monday evening Alice took Orson to the vet, he had fluid around his lungs and was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. He came home with some medicine but was having labored breathing and barely able to walk around. By Tuesday evening around our bedtime he started moaning meowing and was panting like he ran a marathon. Alice took him to the cat ER where he passed away. Orson was a 13 year old Persian and has been with Alice since 1998 in Chicago, Seoul Korea and Lexington, KY with Tilda and I.

Merry Christmas
A 8 year journey was ended this morning. I finished listening to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows. I’ll stay away from saying anything specific. There were too many moments to count where I found a tears in my eyes and the moments increased in frequency the closer to the end I ventures. The Deathly Hollows gets a solid 2 thumbs up and was a great end to a great series. If you have finished the book and want to talk specifics with me, “release the hounds!”

Abigail born Feburary 28th
I have another niece, Abigail Marie Littmer, born last night around 9pm.

My sister let me stay in the birthing room, if I didn’t take any during birth photos, which was very cool of her. Before the birth the pain monitor display would start going down and then Michelle would say it hurt or there was a contraction. At the time it was kinda funny but after about 30 minutes of this a nurse came in and say that Abigail was comming in minutes! They rounded up another the doctor and another nurse. Everyone started doing there thing. Doctor and nurses were calm. Michelle started that push no push pattern. Drew was helping Michelle. Abigail was getting ready to breath. I tried to stay as much out of the way as possible and not totally freak out! 30 minutes later Abigail was born.

I’m an Uncle!!!
My sister and brother inlaw had there first child at about 2:50 this afternoon. Charlotte, my new niece, came in at 6 lbs. 14 ounces and 20 inches tall.
Now for work to get over so I can drive up, see her and get some photos.
