Referer_Log is calling it quits.

I’m pulling up the stakes and folding Referer_Log so I can…write a new ICQ book for Macmillan. The world needs another quirky, general-interest weblog like the open source community needs Eric $. Raymond.

Well not like the world needs yet another Macmillian book 🙂

The best thing about my failed experiment in weblogging was the chance to try out Blogger. It’s a great tool — free, completely Web-based and none of the ugly wax buildup you get from competitive products.

Yes Blogger is a very cool tool!

Hmm so “hackers” are threatening to mess with eToys. Usually I don’t condone web and internet defacement, other than they the laugh I recieve, but this seems to be a very valid form of protest.” If they aren’t listen sometimes you have to knock REAL HARD.” eToys ya might just be forced to start listening. BTW: I will not be “hacking” eToys 🙂

There is a Book Reviews of Jon Udell‘s Practical Internet Groupware on slashdot.

It’s hard not to believe that Practical Internet Groupware is a year ahead of the curve — Udell’s approach to technology and the seamless integration of various information stores is a tempting vision.

There are several sample chapters avialable on O’Reilly. There are many good ideas, like using NNTP with the web as groupware. I would love to try to use some of John’s ideas but alais my current employer has yet to realise the cluetrain. Anyone looking for that always hard to find gift for their favorite fozbaca could send me a copy 🙂

Has went to version 2.0 with many nice updates. The planed first use at fozbaca.org will be a seperate template for the archive which will hopefully fix some cludgey aspects.
