Have a computer science Lovecraft for you, The Atrocity Archives by Charles Stross. Basic premise, all the Lovecraft stuff is real, the use of complex mathematics creates connections to other dimensions and The Laundry is the British MI-5 for the occult. Bob, the protagonist, is a computer geek who works for The Laundry and is transition to field work. It is not as scary as Lovecraft’s writing but still very cool so far, I’m only about 1/2 the way into it.

I spent $76.02 on Apps in the past 15 months. I’m kinda surprised it ended up being so low. Felt like I spent more on apps. Looking back on all my purchases free and pay, the pricier apps didn’t stay long and were the most unsatasifying. The only greater than $0.99 apps with staying power were a handful of photo apps which, other than Strategery and Apple apps, get the most running time.
