In 2007, Apple updated .Mac (now MobileMe), and introduced the "Web Gallery" feature – a photo sharing service that integrates with iPhoto. Web Gallery offers a beautiful interface, but the layout is done entirely with JavaScript. In this tutorial, we will attempt to recreate the Web Gallery interface using only CSS and a small amount of jQuery.

Since HTML5 is getting more attention by way of marking up our new pages, and the only way to get IE to acknowledge the new elements, such as <article>, is to use the HTML5 shiv, I've quickly put together a mini script that enables all the new elements.

Form Tools is written for web developers who work on online registration sites, or sites that require any form of information gathering from their online visitors. Put simply, it is a form processor, storage and data access script written in PHP and MySQL, designed to work with any existing web form. WifiPad transforms your iPhone/iPod Touch into a wireless gamepad. It works by simulating keyboard events on a PC where the WifiPad Server is installed. Although WifiPad is designed to act like a wireless gamepad, its ability to allow users to design and customize their own gamepads makes it more of a remote keyboard solution and its usefulness may be extended to keyboard driven remote control applications.

CrunchBang Linux is an Ubuntu based distribution featuring the lightweight Openbox window manager and GTK+ applications. The distribution is developed from a minimal Ubuntu install and has been designed to offer a good balance of speed and functionality.

For Laurence Williams' book "An End to Global Warming" (see also the Elsevier page), I created a series of maps showing the possible effects of rising sea levels; they were used for the book cover and interior illustrations.
