Went with the crew to see The Bourne Identity and I liked it, really liked it.
Also saw Behind Enemy Lines, which was pasable as a total brain turn off, and
Best in Show which if you are in the right mood and want to laugh at the absurdidy of dog shows was pretty cool.
Patent Abuses
A couple of good articles, Patently Absurd and The Smother of Invention over at Forbes.com. I think the first is best summed up
Too many patents are just as bad for society as too few.
It lays out the why things started to get bad in the 80’s and a bot of the how.

AxKit now has a native Wiki. Intrestingly it uses POD (Plain Old Documentation) instead of Structured Text for it’s formating language.
Release Announcement:
I’ve written a very simple Wiki clone using AxKit XSP. There’s a live Wiki
on http://axkit.org/wiki/ that you can play with (and we’ll be putting the
AxKit docs up on there). The source code is on CPAN (just uploaded this
morning, so you may have to wait for it to mirror). I think the code is a
pretty nice example of an MVC-like design in XSP, with the XSP as the
Controller, the XSLT as the View, and a perl module as the Model.

Friday Five: Laundry Days
- How often do you do laundry? Once every 2-3 weeks.
- What’s in a typical wash load? Typically clothes, ocasionally bed sheets and towles when I think about it.
- Front or top loader? Powder or liquid detergent? The washer is a top loader at the apartment. Use the cubed powder detergent.
- Do you use fabric softener in the rinse cycle? Have not ever used fabric softener, would probably put it in at the wrong time if I did.
- Dryer or clothesline? Dryer, but parents used to have a clothes line at the first house.
