The Matrix Revolution

I saw it. Didn’t want anything spoiled, and to not spoil it for you select if you want to read furtuer.

It sucked, dammit. I was really hoping that Reloaded would all of sudden stop sucking after Revolution but nah. Oh well maybe the dream trilogy was something that just shouldn’t have happened. Flame on in the comments.

An abriged script for Revolutions. Sums up lots of the stupidity that was Revolutions. And is a much more intresting version 🙂

Also, there were two very cool trailers before Revolutions. The first was for Troy, the big budget Illiad. The second trailer was The Day After Tomorrow which looked like some post-apocalypse the would is flooded and frozen over.

Ten Things I Dig About Xcode highlighting coolness in XCode. Really wonder how it compares to VisualStudio .NET, having never used that paticular IDE.
Oh, and the use of Rendezvous being used for more than just chatting and music sharing for the distributed build. There is a killer app in Rendezvous waiting to be found.

Distributed rendering and building is cool and all but not really a killer app. I’m thinking of something that can really only work when Rendezvous, or something similar exists. I would expect that it embodies some currently underutilized aspect of community and network effects.

Took the The Political Compass test that is floating around. Ended up with Economic Left/Right: -6.62 & Libertarian/Authoritarian: -5.23 which puts me somewhere slightly more Left and Libertian than Nelson Mandela and The Dalai Lama, somewhere pretty close to the Greens. Nothing surprising.

Today is election day in the US. My plan is to vote during my lunch hour. What I have found frustrating is the lact of polling locations listing on the web. I could call the number in the front of the phone book, and will, but it really seems like something that one should be able to get online.
On a related note Kentucky’s Congressional Delegation and the Who’s Who in the Kentucky Legislature. If you are a Kentuckian wishing to contact your representative.
