Special Meeting: Richard Stallman
CLUG has invited Richard Stallman to come speak in Cincinnati on January 24, 2000. Richard Stallman is the founder of the Free Software Foundation and the originator of the GNU Software Project. A large portion of the software in a GNU/Linux system comes from the FSF and GNU project.Details are still being worked out, but the current plan is for Mr. Stallman to speak at UC in the ERC on Monday evening, 7:00, January 24th. We hope to see you there.

The new theory indicates that pain stimuli yield strong negative emotional responses. Operating on that premise, counterbalancing pain with a strong positive emotional response should decrease pain.

has an updated look and design. To clear up any confusion Ratbastard has made the following statement:
“One note: ratbastard.org is not a weblog. A weblog is a site that merely links to other web sites on a daily basis while providing no new content of its own.

I’m pulling up the stakes and folding Referer_Log so I can…write a new ICQ book for Macmillan. The world needs another quirky, general-interest weblog like the open source community needs Eric $. Raymond.
Well not like the world needs yet another Macmillian book 🙂
The best thing about my failed experiment in weblogging was the chance to try out Blogger. It’s a great tool — free, completely Web-based and none of the ugly wax buildup you get from competitive products.
Yes Blogger is a very cool tool!
