Is this true or a hoax? Utah hacker deletes Windows source code

Sources say the virus has been inside Microsoft for years and has been found on all tape backup copies made after 1994. If Microsoft is unable to find a clean copy of Windows(tm) source code it could mean the end to the company and any future updates to the Windows(tm) Operating System.
