Well I’m thankful for great family, who I will be seeing shortly, and friends, especially the ones that BAIM (Big Ass Italian Meal) and the couple that wanted me as the Godfather to their daughter.

Thankfull for lots of cool technology to play with, and getting paid to do it.

Thankful to feel truly empowered to follow my dreams.

The Association for Women in Computing has the Augusta Ada Lovelace Award and some more info about Ada “Who was Augusta Ada Lovelace?” Well she was the daughter of Lord Byron, the poet. Ada’s mother did not want her daughter to follow in her father’s footsteps and had her trained in mathmatics. Ada is given credit for being the first female computer programer, and frist programer by several.
