Drew & Michelle's Wedding

I spent the last half of last week up on Cincinnati. FountianSquare.jpg Got to wander around downtown and meet my sister for lunch. MichelleWorking.jpg Check in with Daisy my god daughter. Daisy.jpg See my Aunt Anne from Charlotte, who is respiratory therapist but we like calling her doctor. DrAnne.jpg Even had the "joy" of seeing a fur covered crotch rocket. FurryBike.jpg But the real reason for the visiting was a wedding. CakeTopper.jpg Not just any wedding but my little sister Michell and Drew were getting married. DrewNMichelle.jpg All went well. The only hickup was the groom getting strep throat and requiring lots of antibiotics.

Your's truely, big brother fozbaca couldn't be happier for the two of them. Currently the Bride and Groom are floating on a boat somewhere in the Carabian hopefully not sick and having a great time.

Remarks by Al Gore

The abuse of the prisoners at Abu Ghraib flowed directly from the abuse of the truth that characterized the Administration's march to war and the abuse of the trust that had been placed in President Bush by the American people in the aftermath of September 11th.
The unpleasant truth is that President Bush's utter incompetence has made the world a far more dangerous place and dramatically increased the threat of terrorism against the United States.

Congratulations Gay Couples

Regardless of how sucky today has been, work sucking, the Iraq situation getting worse and worse, reading stories and seeing pictures of happy couples getting marriage licenses just makes me happy.

MovableType 3.0

SixApart has finally released Movable Type 3.0, no wait that was the Developer Edition. My inital reaction is, much displeasure. As they have said it is really a featureless upgrade, just TypeKey and admin interface changes. On top of that the free version becomes cripleware, one author three blog limit. The now paid for version gets confusing pricing/liscensing scheme. Actually seems like a way to drive folks to TypePad more than anything.

I don't blame SixApart for trying to make a buck, I have already donated $50, but do they have to do it is such a confusing and featureless way? Definately, on top of some other issues, makes me reevaluate other package or rolling my own.

NSLog() has some good thoughts as well.

Lawrence the Time Traveler

A Report on Mesopotamia - by T.E. Lawrence. If I didn't know better I would say that this Lawrence guy is writing today to President Bush.
