Should I Stay Or Should I Go

It is probably not the case but right now it feels like the most stressful time of my life. The big question, “Should I stay or should I go?” and the more time pases the more it feels like I have no choice in the matter. Oh, and the problem with going is the “being nibbled to death by ducks”, as Londo would say it, by the border in trying to get everything back to the states and setup somewhere else. More thinking and deciding in my future.
But if you are looking to hire a Perl dude for work in the British Columbia Lower Mainland or Seattle area, or leads, let me know fozbaca@yahoo.com.

“And it seemed like well… our home…If not Canada, then a land, not too far away, where all parents are strong and wise and capable, and all children are happy and beloved… I dunno, maybe it was Nashville.”

Sites to check out:
http://jobshark.ca
http://workopolis.com
http://careerclick.com
And the best resource I’ve found so far…. the Yellow pages. Head to the Library and grab the Vancouver Yellow Pages… then just start hitting companies up.
If you can get work in BC, go for it…. but you’re probably better off looking down in Seattle / Bellingham area – you’re still in the same general area, but probably pulling down a heck of a lot more coin. 😉

If you’re looking for work in Washington ( Seattle, Bellingham ), then take a look at http://www.dice.com. They have a several jobs for perl programmers listed when you do the search. And Darren is right about the money being more, they pay almost the same ( and sometimes more ) as we get here, but with the way the american doller is versus the canadian dollar, it works out to be a lot more.
Oh, and another place to look for Vancouver companies is on http://www.ijive.com, there’s a listing of probably more than 100 companies on there.

Good luck in the job hunt foz!
