The Rise of ``Worse is Better''
The theory is that a "worse" system, with say 50% of what is wanted, will succed over a "better" because of cost, earlyier release, etc, and fixing the remain 40% will lock people in. Intrestingly Unix and DOS were examples of a "worse" system succeding.
